A NEW TAKE ON THE CAREER FAIR
K+CO CLIENT: TORONTO EDUCATION WORKERS
Eat & Greet was a unique one-day event organized by My Food My Way to connect Toronto District secondary school students from grades 9 to 12 with passionate food industry professionals. This event was design to engage students on a deeper level to increase their knowledge of the diversity of food-related jobs and increase their knowledge of the importances of networking and creative problem solving. The first half of the day showcased the diversity of food-related jobs in Toronto and allowed students to informally network with industry leaders and were encouraged to exchange business cards. The second half of the day challenged students and professionals to work together to discover innovative ways to inspire young people to eat healthier. In total 6 solutions were generated, and survey resulted indicated that 100% of participants were very satisfied with the event.
