I’m obsessed with the ‘why’.
Not the first why, that’s easy, but rather the next half dozen. The ‘whys’ that force you to get your hands dirty and address the problem, not just a symptom. I’m equally excited about the ‘how’ - balancing insights with ideation and implementation to design new business models, develop internal organizational systems, and create products and services that foster customer loyalty.
With 8 years in strategy-centered roles across design, communications, branding, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability at both Fortune 500 organizations and non-profits, and a recent innovation-focused MBA under my belt, I am equally at home handling business model canvases, journey maps, gantt charts, pixels, and payback models. At my core is a knack for making a plan of action to achieve a goal and telling a great story to get others on board.
My personal passion lies in leveraging accountability and resource efficiency as a driver for innovation. Waste is a design flaw and there is incredible market opportunity in designing from this vantage point.
Currently I call San Francisco home, where I’m most likely to be asked by friends and family to plan their wedding, design a logo, organize their junk drawer, or fix something around the house. I believe ambiguity can be a valuable compass, being organized makes you more flexible, and choosing what to take out is often more important than what to add.
