A NEW TAKE ON THE CAREER FAIR

Eat & Greet was a unique one-day event organized to connect Toronto district secondary school students from grades 9 to 12 with a diverse group of food industry professionals. The event engaged students on a deeper level to increase their knowledge of food-related jobs, increase the importance of networking, and develop creative problem solving skills. The first half of the day allowed students to informally network with industry leaders. In the second half, students and professionals worked together to design innovative ways to inspire young people to eat healthier. In total 6 solutions were generated, and survey resulted indicated that 100% of participants were very satisfied with the event.
